Help us do more

We are looking for big-hearted individuals who want to donate each month to help us integrate the children on our waiting list, cover our basic operating costs, and become sustainable in the coming years.

Pasitos de Luz has existed as a registered charity for  25 years. During that time, we have had to work hard year after year to cover our basic operating expenses. We have also managed to change the lives of over 2,200 children!

A donation of $30 USD/month (just a dollar a day) is the cost for a child to receive a day of services at Pasitos de Luz, and will be used to purchase the most essential items for our daily needs, directly helping the children.

Or you can choose a larger amount and provide a monthly donation of $150 USD or $200 USD. This donation will go directly to providing health and wellness opportunities to the children in our programs, as well as enabling us to accept new children from the 90 cases awaiting their opportunity.

Our Goal: An additional $6,000 USD per month

Our operations rely on the ongoing support of monthly donations. With an additional $6,000 USD per month, we can increase:

  • New children served from our waiting list.
  • 1,600 meals.
  • 200 Physical Therapy sessions.
  • 200 Hydrotherapy sessions.
  • 440 Ecology sessions in our Garden.
  • 300 Health Check-ups.
  • 120 hours of Special Education.

In 2024

Thanks to the efforts, collaboration with universities, volunteers, specialists, and our committed community, we have been able to offer the full diversity and quality of our programs at $30 USD per child per day. This remarkably low figure covers meals, physical therapy and hydrotherapy sessions, special education, consultations with specialists, medications, childcare, music classes, transportation, and recreational activities, supporting over 130 families annually.

Pasitos de Luz

Pasitos de Luz is a non-profit civil association founded by mothers of children with disabilities to meet their therapeutic, psychological, and educational needs. Pasitos de Luz provides 100% FREE care to children with disabilities from single mothers and low-income families in the areas of Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas, Mexico.

Pasitos is a lifeline for approximately 130 families, with the goal of supporting up to 220 families. We assist children with motor, sensory, and intellectual disabilities, aiming for their inclusion, independence, and autonomy. We offer a wide range of free services, including physical therapy, psychological care, nutrition and wellness, educational programs, and much more!
